Delayed Trials for Abusers

Why are trials for those accused of and/or having confessed to sexual crimes against children delayed for years, sometimes for decades????!!!!!

Is it true that it’s because being locked behind bars is not safe for prisoners convicted of molesting children? That “skinners” which is what the prison population refers to them as, are first on the list to be murdered by fellow inmates? ?

Second on that hit list are the “schizos” who suffer from psychosis, categorized as a medical disorder or a neurological ondition, prevalent in those who suffer from schizophrenia.

When a crime is committed by a person with a mental disorder, there are facilities where they can be housed , medicated and assessed

They are under guard so they cannot escape. They are considered a possible danger to themselves and/ or others” Their ultimate release from the hospital/prison is determined by a Review Board made up of medical professionals

Why is there not a similar program for those convicted of the most heinous crime of child molestation? These people continue to be a danger because of their compulsions, even though some of them may be pillars of the community and loving family members

The disease of child molestation is seldom reported and sometimes continue on into the next generation

There needs to be a safer place to house the perpetrators and , even more importantly, a safe, peaceful environment for their victims.
