Somewhere in this world
The air is warm and grass is green
But it isn’t here
Springtime at the lake
Water between the cracks
Birds perch on ice cubes
Today’s a good day
Today is the best day
Since yesterday
Old people and young
Shuffleboard at the Lodge
And I almost won
Round plates are better
Forks don’t slide into the food
But mine are square
When the sunshines bright
All the world pays attention
New grass, weeds, growing
Beware of our thoughts
Be aware of what we know
We know more than we think
The clouds congregate
Shades of grey turbulence
It’s winter again
Today’s Haiku
Sunlight streams through curtain
What’s new outside in the morn
Frost glistening on cars
