Silver Birch Lodge is a good place to rest,
From a lifetime of living and giving your best.
You crawl out of bed and turn up the heat,
Then back under blankets for a little more sleep.
It’s snowing outside but you don’t have to worry,
‘Bout shovelling the white stuff each time that it flurries.
And when it is summer with grass on the lawn,
Someone else mows it while you just look on.
You can’t have a dog or a cat in your lair,
But look out your window, there’s deer, fox, and bear.
And if you are sick or aching a lot,
The Medical Clinic is just a short walk.
