I wanted to write something that would help ease some of the pain of the past few days. We are all still suffering in sympathy with the dear sweet traumatized citizens of Tumbler Ridge. Soon our pain will subside, but those who are suffering terribly may continue to endure. We don’t know who or what to blame. I went through a similar personal agony and it was not easy. Anything to do with the hugely misunderstood symptoms of a persistent chemical imbalance in the human brain can be confusing. Until a severely diseased brain recovers there will be pain. We can only reach out to learn what we can do to help erase the superstition. But first we need to ease our own personal anguish. For me listening to beautiful music helped and when I discovered my Faith, it was comforting.
