The article “The Shocking Truth About Marijuana ” was published in the Readers Digest Magazine in January and February of 1981. When I reached into my disarranged cupboard three years later – when my son was diagnosed with schizophrenia – my hands seemed to know exactly where these copies were amongst the hundred or so other magazines.
