I have been there…

He was just 21 and the disease worsened to the point where he was incarcerated at psychiatric hospital when he was 30 after risperdone med adversely affected his mind

It was there he was treated with closapine and gradually overcame worst symptoms.He has also been on Ativan for panic attacks and received some therapy
He is now 62 and in a group home flourishing in the arts and writing community

I am so happy to have had my son in a state of almost fully recovery into the real world at this time.
