A man needs a woman

Especially when he’s old

He needs her to do the housework

To feed him, wash his clothes 

He needs her to make appointments

Pick up prescription pills

Keep track of the finances

Make deposits, pay the bills

A woman needs a man

When she’s elderly and frail

If he has a driver’s licence

And a car that doesn’t  fail

If he has a sense of humor 

That really is a plus

But what’s the most important 

Is that his love for hers enough
