More May Haikus

Colours in night skies
What may they signify?
We are one on Earth

Human brain pauses
Waits for the emergence
Of kindness and trust

Old songs old memories
“Autumn Leaves” “Sincerely”
Each song had a story

Water from on high should quench the thirsty soil
Douse the forest fire

Those living long ago
Helped shape the world we know
We may do the same

Puffy little peach
Coloured clouds in a blue sky
‘Twill be a good day

Lush green leaves and grass
Brown patches ready for planting
The warm earth beckons

An ant cannot define
An elephant any more than
We can define God

What’s going on,
Underground, beneath the trees?
Roots like telephone wires

Smooth grey pavement
Kaleidescope of colours
Good to be alive!
